A few months back, I wrote about an organization for which I volunteer called “Circle of Friends.” The group pairs children with special needs with a buddy, and it plans fun events for everyone to do together.
At the Circle of Friends Christmas Party, we decided to have a cookie exchange. Below are pictures of my contributions to the cookie exchange (the decorations are made out of fondant, so it’s all edible).
Chocolate-Covered Words of the Day
We made it, y’all; we surpassed 150 comments on my comment-drive post! But for those of you who haven’t yet left a comment on the post, you still have a few hours left, and I’m still paying double per comment. To recap, I’m going to donate 20 cents (now 40 cents) for every comment left on this post (until New Year’s Day, a.k.a. tomorrow). If you have a blog, please help me spread the word; my goal is to get at least 150 comments (Yay, we surpassed that!). The money is going to a terrific charity, The Enough Project.
(And now I must end this post so I can go morph into Chocolate-Covered Genie for an Arabian Nights party.)
Happy New Year, everyone!!!!
